As it has been nine months now, I think you should either close the case, unresolved, or finish the investigation in a timely manner.

Is the case still open? We are coming up on a year now . . .

Its been 15 years and the City has not fixed the 2 second green light at Hamilton and Grand Avenue which causes a lot of traffic and delays of all kinds. Don't expect any action until a new Mayor comes in who is an outsider to politics.

Good Afternoon, I apologize but I am not sure who received the initial trouble call but I will look into it. Typically at a railroad crossing all vehicles stop after the track clearance times out. There is the potential that vehicles traveling on East St will turn onto Grand or at least get far enough into the intersection only to be stopped by vehicles stopped for the train. At that point it becomes gridlock. With East Street being 1 lane in each direction, once traffic is stopped from turning either right or left onto Grand towards the train crossing everything stops. It is safer to have all vehicles stopped on a r red signal rather than have a green light and no one being able to move and then motorists trying to dodge around the stopped traffic. I hope this helps.
