Description

At 5:30 p.m. I went walking on the closed-off area of Orange Street and English Drive, and along English Drive to the entrance to East Rock Park, and up the paved road. I was wearing a mask. I saw no-one else wearing one. Not a single person. Not walkers, runners, or bikers. And the area was crowded enough that it was often difficult to maintain a 6-foot distance. If we are going to reopen safely, and get outside in this wonderful weather, we need to act responsibly to protect others and ourselves.
