Median on Whalley is a mess....AGAIN!. You'd think city officials would notice and take action without residents needing to submit a request

Thanks for reporting. We are aware and have location scheduled to be addressed. Though a State maintained road we will continue to monitor and address if need be.

Giovanni Zinn and LCI researched the agreement with the State that put the medians in place, and the City is clearly responsible for maintaining the median. Please update your records.

Hi all, I reached out to the parks apartment to see if they could mow it like they did last summer. Dennis you are correct, I have the agreement between the state and the City of New Haven, though this is a state road, this median was put in place with the agreement that the city would maintain it.

Thanks for feedback. Unfortunately, when constructed the ground cover between dirt and the lip of the curb is not enough for weed control. There is now a designated maintenance plan developed with engineering. Please open a new request if the problem re-appears in the spring.
