It's extremely frustrating and difficult to be able to make a left turn at this intersection. There needs to be a left turn light that lasts for a few seconds before the people going down Bedford St start going straight down toward Central St because the line of cars travelling straight is much longer than the green light for people turning on to North Main St.

left turn priority should be "a thing" at all lights in the city.
I have no idea why it's common in other areas but virtually unheard of around here?
it would reduce traffic jams and congestion a great deal
