Why do they block off access to the only 2 businesses while they're working on this bridge, BUT when they work on the Chapel St bridge you don't see a saw horse until Alderman and Dow. then on the Ferry St Bridge you don't get a sign until after Brewery Square. You block off E Grand & Quinnipiac right at the intersection and disrupt business to two already struggling businesses. Put the sign at the foot of the bridge with a detour sign to turn around in the adjacent parking lot. Everything has to @#$% backward in regards to these three bridges with no thought, care or concern for neighbors, visitors or businesses trying to survive.

After the Bridge closes, the traffic controller gets a signal from the bridge and then the traffic signal must follow a specified clearance interval prior to resumption of normal operation. The Signal Division looked and made sure the controller was programmed in accordance with the approved traffic plan, and was functioning correctly when the bridge operator turns off the signal to the traffic cabinet.
