Hello,
I am very glad that Cambridge is taking Covid seriously and issuing such strict measures to keep us all safe. However, I have noticed a lack of compliance with these measures from contracted construction crews (not DPW) as well as the state troopers assigned to detail these crews. Specifically, on multiple occasions, the work on the sidewalk in front of the Peabody/O'Neill Branch library. Multiple individuals were not wearing masks, and some didn't even have them at all. Others were smoking within 20 feet of a city building and school where students are currently in the classrooms. If the city seems it necessary to have outside help for these things, they have a duty to ensure they are following safety measures as the rest of us.
