We have lived in Beaver Hills over 30 years. Speed bumps are an inconvenience for law abiding residents, and, along with the accompanying multiple bright yellow warning signs, are an horrendous eyesore in an historic neighborhood. The effectiveness of speed bumps is questionable. Vehicles will continue to speed only to slow long enough to ride over the speed bump, and speed up again creating another issue, noise pollution, day and night. This issue is not uncommon throughout the city (and other cities, alike) where there is a long stretch of road. Adding yet one more road to the list is not desireable nor helpful.
