You won't believe how many complaints there are on this website about alleys in disrepair. Not to mention all the potholes on the streets we drive on everyday. You'll be lucky to see this fixed in your lifetime.

Both alleys (behind 3004 and 2914 Monument) between W Grace and Monument have been reported several times over the past 7 YEARS but nothing has been done... Please Help or at least give us the award for the worst alleyways along Monument Avenue.

I've e reported the 2 alleys at 3000 and 2900 grace/monument a dozen times. Either a couple of guys come and throw a spoonful of pavement in a couple holes or the city tells you "it's on the list"
This service just forward s the email to the street repair department.
Perhaps a letter signed by the neighbors and sent to Samuelsmight get some action.

@Roger, I feel your pain. We pay crazy taxes to live in the City but get very little bang for our buck in terms of services.

As you can see above, the City quickly acknowledged your complaint as it does for all. A humungous pothole on Monument in your area took well over a month to get fixed. I'm sure lots of cars had tires damaged from that very deep pothole. And I bet the City got lots of claims for tires that needed repairs or replacement.

So had they fixed it from the get-go, it would have saved the City lots of money all around. But that would have made sense.

Your concern has been received and forwarded to the Department of Public Works (CRS# 20020807816) so that proper inspection and handling can take place accordingly. This team has had problems with equipment breakage in regards to motor graders that break and need repair and may have broken again and back in the shop. Also members of the Alley Team are engaged in leaf removal services right now.
