Snow Removal - Your Sidewalks, Homes and Businesses

Please remember that 12 hours after we declare the end of snow operations for any storm, business owners must shovel their sidewalks and within 24 hours homeowners must do the same.  Please review our quick reference guide to avoid being ticketed.

Sidewalks still blocked . .

Snow cleared.

The rain cleared the snow. The funeral home did not. Was there a fine levied for ignoring the policy? The snow storm was a week prior?

Spoke with the business owner and he will talk with his contractor to better coordinate the sidewalk clearing with the parking lot plowing. He was sorry he inconvenienced anyone.

Thanks, but they do it every year until someone complains. . . They are horrible neighbors to their residential neighbors. Were they fined? Obviously, as a business owner you survey your property. A huge amount of Auburn St was left unshoveled for a week. A complaint was made here and strange that Ms. Zhao was assigned to other sidewalk concerns that day, but no one even acknowledged the complaint or investigated Weir Funeral Home? Certainly is strange how some places get preferential treatment?
I hope you talked to him about plowing snow from the parking lot into Auburn St?
Funny how they (Weir) get cars ticketed instantly if someone parks on a public street but they violate a snow removal regulation for more than a week and they were given a phone call?
