Like the house next door --5347 Lawton Avenue-- this property is a public health and public safety hazard and has been for months, perhaps years. It is unoccupied and has been for a long time. It is in total disrepair, both inside and outside, and is clearly a safety hazard. In addition, there are rats inside, outside and underneath the house, and they have gotten into virtually everybody's yard on the 5300 block of Boyd Avenue. This is an urgent public health issue. A co-enforcement file already exists on the house next door and should be opened if it has not on this one as well. Please take the necessary steps to have this building condemned. Thank you.
