115 Grant Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
People are parking illegally on the wrong side of the street daily. On an already busy street it is making it more dangerous for residents and for people driving down the street as it decreases the road size.

It is absolutely absurd that Framingham is allowing a traveling zoo to be set up in a PARKING LOT of a somewhat bust plaza. My concern is for the welfare of these poor animals. The conditions are deplorable and I am incredibly upset that a town that prides itself on being green and animal friendly would allow this "zoo" to be set up in a parking lot or even at all. The people running it clearly have no compassion for these animals as they were left out ALL NIGHT on concrete in a THUNDERSTORM. It truly is enough to make me move away of Framingham. It horrible and disgusting ... CAMELS should not be sitting on the side of the road in some crappy tent on concrete. Absolutely terrible, I expect more and better from Framingham and I sincerely hope that those poor animals make there way to a sanctuary and no longer part of a horrible roadside "zoo." I never want to see anything like that again. EVER.

Not to say much the photos already speak for itself .... Locking the door of a store, stench , and the Framingham prefecture not take any action for that ? 3 months this junk 's there ... we'll have to call a television station ? I see the suffering of the owner of this establishment with the flies and the stench and no one helps .
  • Concord Street At School Street As Well As A Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
What idiot came up with the idea of installing traffic signals at Concord Street and School Street as well as Concord/A Street? This causes a major traffic havoc. That was STUPID!! Take them down.

The LED Streetlights in Framingham are way too bright. The glare from the exposed bulbs is brighter than many headlights, and the bright ring of light they project on the ground creates patterns of intense light and dark that make it hard to see anything outside the ring of light. If you’ve ever stepped from bright sunshine into a room that seemed completely black, only to find that once inside there is plenty of light, that is what these lights do. For those who walk at night, it is impossible to watch for wildlife (skunks, coyotes, raccoons) in yards adjacent to the sidewalk, and the overhead glare makes it uncomfortable to look straight ahead, much less upward.
The light is not only uneven, but way too bright for adjacent property. My back yard is now lit up like an industrial park, and the light coming in my windows feels like a cheap hotel. Juniper Hill school has a ridiculous amount of light, looking like a scene from a Close Encounters movie. I wonder how this would work for police officers responding to any disturbance there. It seems like police use bright headlights and flashlights to secure an advantage over the bad guys; now when they respond, they will have bright lights shining in their eyes, while being brightly illuminated to anyone wanting to cause trouble.
I have read on the Ameresco site that LED lights are easily dimmable, and on the Framingham site that the project is only partially complete, and that adjustments will be made. If the lights could be adjusted to put out one half to one quarter of the light they are currently putting out, they would be safer, better looking and use much less energy. It is my hope that this is the plan, and that someone in charge already knows the problems and this post is premature. However, if the lights can not be dimmed, or dimmed only a little, I would urge the town to put a brief hold on the deployment of these lights and find a light that will provide more even, less obtrusive light and save even more energy, perhaps even at a lower cost per fixture.

This house has been rented for the past few years. There have been numerous occupants living in the house at one time. It is a single family house and there have been numerous families living in it at one time. The backyard has been full of trash, appliances, roofing materials, numerous metal ladders, paint, torn up rugs, furniture such as mattresses, couches, etc, clothing, and anything else you can imagine. The yard smells and it is attracting animals. A few months ago they had a fire in the backyard because the tenants were burning things and the fire department had to be called. The property is disgusting and it is bringing down the property values of the surrounding houses. The Board of Health really needs to look into this property because it probably needs to be condemned or seriously cleaned out!!!!!!! I wish I could upload all of the pictures I have, but it will only take one image. The picture does not even come close to how disgusting this property is!!!!!

There is a horrible, strong odor in the dumpster parked along the above building, and there are trucks and an abandoned car parked there too. I see garbage there and people inside the dumpster every day taking trash out. I know that Mr. Theodorakos owns the dumpsters and I don't understand why he is parking the dumpster right on front of other people's building. is there anything City Hall can do about this issue? Thank you for your time.

Haynes Road Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
Despite numerous calls to DPW, Parks & Rec and Town Offices - the sidewalk at top of Haynes Road (as you walk along the sidewalk onto the paved base of the Juniper Hill Rd School/Blocks) remains littered with concrete and asphalt chunks, a huge rusted iron pole and mounds of dirt growing grass/weeds - please clean this up before a child falls and cuts them self - not too mention it is not passable by a child on a bike, a stroller or our elder neighbors - shame on Framingham for passing this 10 minute clean up issue between departments for over a month!
