604 Avenida De Mayo Sarasota 34242, United States - Siesta Key
County allows this property to continue renting by the week, quickly "archiving" valid complaints about this illegal rental all the while leaving frivolous neighboring issues pending. 604 Avenida de Mayo is supposed to be a single family home with 30 day minimum lease.
  • 617 Avenida De Mayo Sarasota, Florida - Siesta Key
Homeowner, Mike Cosentino at the above property consistently has his property in disarray. Currently, there are boats and work trailers at his residence which is unsightly in our neighborhood. His home is in disrepair and trucks and cars are always blocking the street. Please have him clean up his unsightly home and move boats and trailers. It is an eyesore and our neighborhood is tired of looking at it. No one wants to confront Homeowner due to his bully nature.
  • 604 Avenida De Mayo Sarasota, Florida - Siesta Key

Michael Sprout is the new sheriff in town however he still leaves his garbage way into thursday during the day...I snapped this photograph at 4:30 on Thursday when trash should be picked up on Wednesday. It is creating a foul smell and is attracting many other siesta key rats.
  • 582 Commonwealth Lane Siesta Key, Florida - Siesta Key
The house had been demolished many months ago. The stilt fence in down in the front allowing sand/dirt/silt runoff into the stormwater drain which will cause street flooding. The remaining yard is overgrown with weeds and has become a haven for rodents and mosquitoes.
  • 4862 Commonwealth Dr Sarasota, Florida - Siesta Key
construction debris barrier around large construction has collapsed in several locations. Many truckloads of fill have been dumped to raise the foundation level. During recent rains, there was a torrent of mud that spilled into Grand Canal via storm drains and over the seawall. Huge area of the canal turned grey from all the mud. This happened several times in huge volume. Work crews are on site but no one has fixed the barrier all week and more fill has been dumped. The next rain will cause more mud to pour into canal.

Homeowner is renting illegally this weekend, AGAIN. He continually disobeys the RSF rules which is 1 MONTH MINIMUM. SARASOTA BEACH neighborhood respects those that follow this rule and the County must enforce the rules to Mr. Waites once and for all. He is not allowed to run a hotel in our neighborhood.

  • 55 Beach Road Siesta Key Florida - Siesta Key
Walking the beach this week and noticed all these fake flower pedals on the beach. They seemed to be some sort of plastic flower pedals. Now they are blowing all over the beach. Not only polluting the beach but what is this doing to the environment and sea life? I’m wondering if they were used for a wedding on the beach.
  • 717 Treasure Boat Way Sarasota, Florida - Siesta Key

This address has not had any maintenance with the new owner. Two of the 4 vehicles are derelict or abandoned (the two on the right, one with jet ski/trailer that has never moved and the obvious one with a trash bag for a back window).

The weeds have overgrown and taken over the once rock only yard.

They walk two dogs (great dane and pit bull) and don't pick up the poop. They leave it on their yard and the street or neighbors yard during their walks.
