96 Storms Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - McGinley Square
I witnessed this grey SUV running over the "no parking" bollards to illegally park. I request a denser installation of bollards or a different more durable bollard at the intersection of Storms and Monticello.

Newark Ave & Waldo Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
Is there anyway a stop light can be put on that intersection of Waldo and Newark Ave Because that left turn sign doesn't seem to have drivers proper attention and they still continue to make the left turns anyways especially during school hours Not only it’s unsafe for the school zone but for the children on lunch or dismissal times

Pearl St & Washington St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - The Waterfront
Can we have pedestrian crossing warning lights added here?
  • Ege Ave & Mallory Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - West Side
The intersection of Mallory and Ege needs better care for both pedestrians and cars coming out of ege onto mallory. Poor visibility from cars exiting ege and turning either left or right threatens pedestrian, cyclist and drivers safety. Corner of Ege and Mallory is visually blocked most of the day and the evening. Many requests have been made but City Traffic & Engineering folks must not be doing their studies from 8am-10am 12-3pm or 4-6pm because thats when traffic is at its worst. Pls see a solution put in place for this. TY

Homestead Pl & Pavonia Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
At Pavonia & Homestead there is a Rectangular Rapid-Flashing Beacon (RRFB) installation that pedestrians can actuate when they want to cross Pavonia Ave.
There are two signals, one at each end of the crosswalk, which have yellow LED lights to warn oncoming vehicles. A button is mounted on each pole below the beacons and signs.
Both sides normally flash when either button is pressed.
PSE&G installed a new wood pole to reroute high voltage wires away from the construction site at 616 Pavonia.
The pole blocks the view of the RRFB on the south side of the crosswalk from eastbound drivers.
The RRFB should be moved east, to the other side of the crosswalk, where it will be more visible to oncoming eastbound drivers.

Herbert Pl Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
Can the city investigate the safety conditions on Herbert place for pedestrians. The sidewalks are VERY narrow. To the point where two people can not pass each other and need to step into the street. This matter is made even more concerning as it is a very very common place for cars to park on the sidewalk. This is a constant every day occurrence. and hundreds of people use this route to get the the JSQ bus terminal and path station everyday. The parking lot often encroaches on the right of way.

Constituent request to have permanent Pylons installed on the corner of 52 Highland and Van Reypen Avenue.
  • Town Square Pl & Washington Blvd Jersey City, NJ, 07310, USA - The Waterfront
This intersection is especially dangerous in both directions for multiple reasons. We've come dangerously close to hitting pedestrians and being sideswiped by other drivers on numerous occasions. The pedestrian crossing from the mall to the PATH is on a diagonal, meaning that pedestrians cross along a very long area but with little respite in the median due to the large exhaust tower and tall grasses in the way; they're often walking along the curb or running out quickly in front of drivers since they have nowhere else to go. What's more is that there are cars stopping suddenly on both sides of the street to pickup/drop off passengers. Finally, the exhaust tower and grasses are super dangerous for driver sight lines when driving south, and for pedestrians attempting to cross from the median toward the mall. I go through this intersection very slowly and still have to frequently slam on my brakes or veer quickly into the other lane.

373 Monmouth St Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown

The Monmouth Ave redesign added three parking spots instead of adding a loading zone. Now delivery trucks just double park blocking the right lane. This causes congestion and tons of noise from honking as cars make an unexpected lane merge from 2 down to 1.

Make those spots a loading zone.
