It's so nice that the water fountains are back in operation at Fresh Pond. Thank you. However this fountain has almost no water pressure, and what's more, the down-facing spout is totally non-functional. This down-facing spout is particularly important in this COVID era where people want to fill their own water bottles and don't want to lean down and breathe on top of the regular drinking spout.

There is a note on the water fountain saying "temporarily out of order, we're waiting for new parts". This is a simple water fountain, not a particularly complex machine, and it sits on property managed by the fricking water department, one of the most state-of-the-art water departments in the country. It is baffling that this is dragging on. Surely our creative engineers can come up with a way to get a simple stream of water, even if it is a temporary work-around while they wait for a new unit.
