Lola, One of the speed bumps is right at the stop sign, and I believe that is not allowed according to DOT Rules. The signs that you speak of are not readily visible and only the eastbound side has one sign that is not close enough to the speed bump. They are also supposed to be clearly marked, because even going at the speed limit, your car jumps and an unsuspecting driver could lose control. As for me I drive at the speed limits or less. My father was a policeman so he taught me well!

Having posted signs for speed bumps is also the Law. What one driver did should not jeopardize all other drivers. If the police also gave out citations to drivers who do not properly signal for turns and lane changes, there would also be much less accidents and injuries. Not using turning signals will make you fail a Driver's Test in Georgia.

Was this problem fixed? Brookhaven acknowledged it over a year ago!
