Just spoke with Michael Ford about this issue. Requesting 5 or 6 parking space allowances alongside the community garden so that the elder community gardeners are able to park near the garden (both access and safety related). Community gardeners have not had somehwere near to park to access the garden in a number of years and are unable to afford parking tickets when trying to grow food for their families. A parking zone with limitations to daytime parking would be great (some of the gardeners prefer to come just after sunrise to water their crops and they think it's a safer time of day, so something along the lines of 'No Parking from 8pm to 6am' would likely work to address any concerns of after-dark parking.
