This particular hole may require a plate over the area that is unsupported.

Sink Hole about to happen?

Has already happened! We have a legacy of underground water issues that make all of Georgia Street liable to sink holes. My street is the bottom of a hill and they have opened it up to work on an inadequate drainage system. It will be too costly to completely correct, but I think that it needs a plate to prevent further car damage and adequate emergency entrance to our neighborhood.
