Description

Today we walked here with the City Engineer and The Director of Traffic and Parking. They support putting more lighting in here and doing a mural on the wall.

It would be great if the mural incorporated something related to the Mill River and the new trail!

Yay for forward thinking City Leaders in NHV.

This is SORELY needed and has been for years. It's gotten better--only slightly--but walking or riding anything but a car through that tunnel is a truly soul-sucking risk. Potholes everywhere, and glass 99% of the time. Not to mention one is easy pray for someone who casually decided to hide behind the 20 or so massive columns that compose the bridge.

I agree 100% with FairHavener! I've lived in FairHaven Heights and Fair Haven for 25 of the 30 years since I moved from NYC. A SINGLE lightbulb would be an improvement. Full lighting, milling and paving, and a mural project would be a godsend.

not to crash the party but I run through the tunnel at least once a week and in its actually well lighted at night these days.
