Several of the parents who have kids enrolled at the Neighborhood Music School park their vehicles (without handicap tags) in the handicap space that is in front of the school, leaving people who need to use the space (people with handicap hangtags) unable to park there. Sometimes they are park for extended periods of time. It will be good if police officers monitors the area, daily, specially between the hours of 5-6 pm, which is the time when most of the infractions occur.
In addition, no ticketing these people is a loss of revenue for the city of New Haven.
