@MD - Kudos to you! Complaining about the package store anonymously, week after week, sounds like a personal grudge. Carr’s has been there for years. There’s no public drunkenness, it’s not a stick up target. If the anonymous complainer took the time to actually speak with the owner instead of wasting city resources a resolution might be reached.

@anonymous- maybe if they put tables and chairs out like in East Rock, it would be better? Or is that only for white people? What about the people laying on blankets in Wooster Square park drinking? Is that a problem? How are people here bothering you? Maybe be specific on what harm is being done because public drinking happens in all neighborhoods. I haven’t heard of any violence happening around Carrs or the park, so I have no problem. The city should provide more benches and trash cans in the park though.
