Description

East Bay Municipal Utility District Heavy Equipment and Transport Operators and contractots moving heavy equipment and trailers to and from EBMUD facilities are having on-going and extreme traffic safety concerns due tot he multitude of passengers cars, RV;s and trailers parked on the West edge of Oakport Street. Conditions extend from the EBMUD Oakport Warehouse/Pipe Storage Facility, extending South to 66th Ave. The campers are also dumping extensive amounts of trash, human waste, and misc. debris on an on-going basis. Oakland PD is unable to take enforcement action, as it is currently legal to park there. Please designating the West Roadway edge as NO Parking, and install No Parking Signs on the West Roadway edge. Thank you.
