The Mass Pike gate at the service plaza has been open for over a year now.
Our neighborhood has become an unofficial on/off ramp to the highway.
The open gate, along with the recently paved road leading to it, has cars flying through our neighborhood.
Pleas sit at this parking area around the afternoon commute and watch the cars unlawfully exit the pike and FLY onto Woodland and Florita .
I sat her for 5 minutes and shot video of 3 cars exited the pike through the open gate.
Why is NOTHING being done about this?

In FIVE MINUTES on the week end, can you image how many cars use our neighborhood as an on/off ramp on a work day!

This weekend I sent emails to every DOT department I could think of.
Today the gate was locked for the first time in 2 years.
That solves one problem.
It's still a great location to buy/sell drugs but it's not in downtown so nothing will ever be done about it!
