Description

I would like to inform the city of Oakland of the situation that has increased at Mosswood Park. The homeless encampment has really gotten out of control. Every single day there are used needles thrown to the ground, smell of feces and urine and garbage thrown everywhere and anywhere. I have witnessed several times people that live in the encampment shooting up with needles to their arms and legs. I've witnessed people be very intoxicated and yelling and screaming to the air and people walking by. Working in the pediatrics building directly across from all this I seen small children with there parents staring and actually being frighten by the sight of what is happening.
