Description
Eastwood Court from the beginning to the end (1 long block) is badly in need of repaving. Recently a fire hydrant at the corner of Shepherd Canyon Rd and Eastwood Ct was hit by a car and a large amount of water was wasted, due to the condition of the pavement, or lack thereof. PLEASE get this done, it has become a very dangerous hazard to drivers and their cars as well as people trying to bike and walk. The rains are coming, it will only get worse.

I reported the deterioration of the entrance to Eastwood Court in March. See below. Perhaps doing something about it then would have mitigated some of the damage caused by the latest instance of a car taking out our fire hydrant. Kudos to EBMUD for replacing it for days. No kudos to the city for its failure to address the condition at the end of the cul-de-sac or, for that matter, the entire street where potholes all along the way are down to the base layer. The attached photo is from March.
