  Dear Representative,

  I have already reported this to the Oakland Police Department. They have done nothing about this. I would think that the City of Oakland would be concerned with recovering tax money from “businesses” functioning within its borders. It’s clear that this car wash isn’t paying taxes and isn’t a real business on top of the fact that they are violating the shelter in place order. So please do your job and find a solution to this.

  You can try Nuisance abatement 510-238-6370, Code and blight enforcement 510-238-3381 if they are even working. More than likly on a tax payer fund holiday I have Smoke shop and Beauty mart in my neighborhood that OPD is not shutting down either.

  Everybody in a 5 block radius hears blasting music daily for hours!!!it's always reported! especially on the weekends! no fines,no warning,nothing!!! Ive been in this area for the last 25 years,it just gets worse!!! the city of Oakland never has answers for all the "non permit" entities that serve street food without any licenses (health or business permit)!! especially 50th and coliseum way on the weekends where theres gridlock full cars and illegitimate pop up businesses.none of them wear anything protective in regards of the COVID-19 PANDEMIC!! how reckless is that???are they exempt like everything else that is allowed to go on in this area???
