Tweekers showed up and pushed it down the street in front of fire hydrant leaving all their trash behind along with all the oil it leaked on the street.

Well I guess if there’s a fire, the Firetrucks can push it out of the way!

Thank you for your request for an update. This vehicle was originally tagged/marked by Parking Enforcement on 4/6/21. When he returned on 4/8/21, the vehicle had moved out of the markings. Parking Enforcement responded again throughout the month of April and continued to cite the vehicle for various violations, however, no community care taking issues have been present for him to legally tow/remove the vehicle from the public city street. Traffic responded again today and marked/tagged the vehicle. We will continue to monitor the vehicle. A drive-by shooting is not community care taking issues? Please for my reference tell me where I can find the definitions of "Community Care Taking Issues".

California law 22650 CVC was changed in 2019 and created an additional rule, Assembly Bill 2876. The addition requires a Community Care Taking function to also be present for a law enforcement agency to legally remove vehicles from public city streets.
