    My child almost got hit by a car driving down the street as he was avoiding the very deep puddle in front of my house. The side walk floods up to the top of my children's shoes. It ices over in the winter and we have had many people fall no matter how much I've melt we put down. I have 4 children and it is not safe for them to be walking out into the street to be able to get into the driveway to avoid the puddle.

    My wife and I just moved back to Saugus. Fairmount Ave, towards Lincoln Ave and especially gling toward Walnut St is horrable. My wife twice(2) driving back from work late at night got flat tiers. The road, or lack of it, makes it impossible for any one to pull over safely. To dangerous for anyone and especially when I have my kid with me. Both my wife and me called to report problem and no one has called us bck yet. Please fix it.

    and is unsafe to walk on. all sidewalks on Bristow St are not even up to code and have NEVER been replaced in the 39 years I have lived here. would like someone to advise me when my sidewalk will be replaced

    At the corner of our house (Essex St going around the corner to and additional part of Essex ST) is conservation land (belonging to the town). We have been trying to keep it clean, but cannot seem to handle the amount of work-ourselves. Growth and trash is along the creek that runs thru many of our properties, near the large iron wheel that (we believe) belongs to the Town. Please help clear CLEAN this area out. It would help the bug and animal control issue and help make the area a nicer place to be near.

    The traffic light at Main and Vine St in Saugus MA favors Vine Street too heavily. During periods of heavy traffic this causes up to 1/2 mile of back-ups on Mains St on either side of the light. A slight adjustment of the timing, making Vine St traffic wait just a bit longer for green, will save time and fuel for thousands of drivers every day.

  • 6-8 Tuttle Street Saugus, Massachusetts - Saugus

    There is no official "curb" in front of the houses at 6 and 8 Tuttle Street. The sidewalk just meets the road. This causes a multitude of issues:

    (1) Whomever plows the street pushes all the snow directly onto the sidewalks in front of 6 and 8 Tuttle Street. This causes an extreme amount of shoveling to be done by the owners in order to comply with keeping said sidewalks clear of snow. It is compacted and difficult to remove due to the way the plows pack it in.

    (2) Someone from another area parks directly ON the sidewalk between 6 and 8 Tuttle Street every day for 12 hours+. He is picked up by another vehicle and goes to work, we assume.
