    Hello,

Across the street from 142 Broadway and 147 Broadway there is a garden that the Jersey City City Hall planted near the US 1&9 Truck Road. The garden has trash, tall weeds, and grass and it needs cleaning. Please have this area cleaned up and as well any city or government owned sidewalks that has trash and tall weeds and grass. Thank you for your cooperation.

Dog owners walking their dogs to poop and pee on the new sports field This is a public health disaster.

Which city agency is in charge of monitoring the field for health concerned related to pet excrement?

Also, who is responsible to enforce them being off the field?

Lastly, who is responsible for adding "no dogs" signage?

According to this constituent, "the front of City Hall has lots of weeds growing inside flower pots and the lawn is overgrown."

The 3 tree beds in front of the village park are full of weeds & one has all of these wires in it.
  • Terrace Avenue Park - The Heights
These adults come to terrace park and organize their own game and set up their own volleyball court and take the court not letting anyone else play. Is this allowed because wouldn't this be using public parks to organized sport use?

Can you please recategorize this to Zoning? I could not find a listing that would be routed to that office.

In August of 2023, we brought this issue of Canco Lofts not sharing the picnic area (tables/grills) and dog park with the public. Now its again will it be another summer of this building robbing the taxpayers of their rightful public space? The previous ticket was closed. When will these spaces get signage and be open to the public and what is being done about the residents who are picking fist fights and harassing people who try to use these spaces? I borrowed an image from another user to show what the current space looks like. Why are they allowed to have a huge hill of grass that says keep off? That is also meant to be a public space!

The building on the corner of central and beacon has installed multiple of these flood lights. They are not motion censors and remain on 24/7. They are incredibly bright and flood surrounding yards and windows with bright harsh light. It's like all the yards now feel like poorly lit parking lots. After the literal years of reckless and dangerous construction this crew has been doing, you'd think the least they could do is be respectful of the neighbors space now that the outside of the structure is done. It's bad enough that the building and its unpainted cement is an eye sore, myself and the surrounding neighbors would love for our yards and bedroom windows that face that way to not have that horrible light.

    For planning or zoning office.
This house had a front garden with trees. Now after being converted to a multi family house it was all ripped out and pavers being installed. No plants just hard surface???!!!! Is this going to be an illegal car port? Why are they not required to plant?

    1. Ramada hotel erected illegal driveway, which is on public right of way. No driveway could be allowed there because of traffic risk and any vehicles would not fit there, obstructing narrow public sidewalk. I observed today a contractor Willson M. Construction LLC parking pickup truck and forcing people into pavement.

    2. I request DPW removes curb cut, and charge cost to owner.

    3. I request certification of occupancy be revoked for creating illegal driveway, and creating public hazard as a business practice.

Was this building approved to reconstruct their porch onto the sidewalk? 2 years ago the concrete porch did not exist and now takes up a significant portion of the sidewalk - not leaving much room to walk down anymore
  • 12 Beacon Ave Jersey City NJ 07306, United States - The Heights
This new structure is in the back of 12 Beacon Ave and exceeds the height allowed. Residents fought to limit the height of this new construction. The new structure is taller than the existing home and construction is not done. (Picture with pink line) There were originally three garages the same height and the one circled in pink.
