I concur that these new speed humps are improperly installed. Its not just Woodrow Way. Drive on Hermance and you will see that Whatever pavement company Brookhaven hired also installed a couple of improperly designed steep new ones in addition to keeping most of the existing properly designed (By Dekalb Stree Dept) ones.It is quite the contrast. The original ones (dozens are located throughout Brookhaven and neighboring communities)work great forcing drivers to keep speed within posted limit. The new ones are too high and steep forcing drivers to almost stop or buck them out of seats. the speed limit is 25 MPH.
There is no reason to force cars to slow to 10MPH or stop on Woodrow Way as there are no crosswalks in the area of speed humps. In fact their is a sidewalk with a generous buffer between it and the street on one side and a fenced property of Oglethorpe U on the other side. There is nothing to cross over to.
I also am concerned that these will delay Emergency vehicles responding to calls to my neighborhood. Minutes and seconds can make a difference.

I am complaining because the original speed humps worked perfectly. The new ones were installed by a lowest bid subcontractor hired by our new City Government. I am concerned that this shoddy workmanship will carry over to other Public Works projects. The street is not a private subdivision but a public street that feeds multiple neighborhoods. Its a direct route for Emergency vehicles to these neighborhoods also. I was at the original county meeting years ago when theses speed humps were proposed and the public was assured that these would be of the type that would allow ingress/egress at posted speed of 25 mph and not require a stop and roll. Look at all the other original properly installed ones on Hermance and Lanier drive.They work perfectly to curtail excessive speed yet allow smooth travel. I don't like to see our tax money wasted on shoddy workmanship. The company should be forced to redo the speed humps..

Same issue with one of the speed humps replaced on Stratfield Drive (the one closest to Stratfield Circle). Driving up the hill at even a very slow speed, your vehicle is significantly jarred when you make contact with the hump. Seems like if this is the same contractor, they need to adjust their approach angle. Should I create a separate issue for this?

I would create a second issue as they will be addressed individually.

The city should stop installs until they validate the current installations. My neighbor wants installed but some of the newer ones even at 5 mph cause cars to bottom out and vehicle damage.
