Inspected. Concrete sidewalk cracked. Uneven panels. Resident responsibility to permanently repair.

This isn't the sidewalk that leads up to the front door, it's the sidewalk that crosses in front of the property - please confirm that this is what was assessed. All of my neighbors note that this has always been DPW's responsibility to repair sidewalks that run along the street, so I'm surprised that I'm being told that it's my responsibility.

Reinspected. Concrete sidewalk heavily cracked. "Abutting property owner's responsibility" to repair per Ordinance.

Resubmitting. Other neighbors with similar issues were handled by New Haven and were not told that it is their responsibility. This is a safety hazard that could result in injury if not addressed.

Please give us the Ordinance number that makes it the property owners responsibility.
