Maybe this is why the CoV can’t afford a Homeless Shelter or Low Income Housing ... They plan to spend millions of tax dollars on a new VPD

Today the homeless set fire to the buildings so this issue has been abated
And now the owner needs to bulldoze the buildings

Thank you for reporting! Senior Code Enforcement Officer Yoo has an active case on the property, case reference #CE16-1763. You may visit our online tracking system, eTRAKiT, to view updates on current cases at http://web.ci.vallejo.ca.us/eTRAKiT3/ (please allow several business days for information to upload). Questionable? Check today's Times Herald:
Headline... "Ten members of the Vallejo Police Department will undertake a 300-mile bike ride representing Vallejo, and Solano County",
Headline... "Officer Amanda Blain signs autographs for third graders".
Not mentioned... "30-plus million for new waterfront police station..."
No coverage... "Arsonists hunted for four-alarm fire in an abandoned one-story commercial building"
Any questions?

Yes, and didn't State Farm, at the time they moved here from their barely finished Fairfield building, confirm that their business model actually was to buy cheap, build cheap, occupy short-term, sell high, and move on. So that building was always fated to be ugly, empty, and totally out of character with our beautiful waterfront, and its historic, Victorian neighbors. My suggestion stands.
Canute Development fans may want to visit www.VallejoWaterfrontCoalition.org and read how much Joe Canute and State Farm ripped off our city.

General rule of thumb:
Where there are homeless, there are fires.
