  Yes, the restrooms need to be cleaned out, the tents need to go, the trash needs to be picked up, and the law needs mowing so the families can use this, please. Neighborhood would be happy to help with monthly cleanups, is this something the city can help organize/support with bags, rakes, gloves, etc?

  I am a volunteer in the Dimond District. We work with Oakland's "Keep Oakland Clean and Beautiful" team / adopt a spot. 238-7611 to ask about volunteering. They supply us with plastic and green waste bags, pick up sticks, gloves, safety vests and they have tools they lend out. This is the only way we can keep Dimond Park and our business District clean. We average 12,000 pounds a year. We try anti littering education that is not working. For the used epidemic needles contact OFD/OES 444-3322. I just requested an sharps bio hazard container from them and have OFD swap it out when full.
