  Hello, Flea. You yourself need to call Code Enforcement. (510) 238-3381. You don't need to give your name but take note of the case number they give you - you will need it to follow up in a few weeks. First an inspector is sent to confirm the problem. Then a letter is sent to the property owner who has 30 days to correct the problem. You may be "on hold" for a little while when you call, but be patient, the agents are quite nice. Office hours are 8 AM - 4 PM Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri. Weds. 9:30 AM - 4 PM

  I’ve lived here for many years and am well-versed and experienced in how to handle issues like this, as well as each respective agency’s/department’s processes, but thank you for the suggestions(s).

  This issue is on CITY OWNED, PUBLIC PROPERTY - not private property - as was clearly stated in the original report.

  PWA/311: This is YOUR DEPARTMENT’S RESPONSIBILITY, not Code’s (and not Loren Taylor’s, lol).

  Accordingly, please send a work crew to the specific PUBLIC lot indicated in the original report. Thank you.
