Description
The sidewalks are closed on both sides of Oberlin Rd in front of the 2 apartment buildings. Some construction guy practically cursed me out near McDonalds, I asked him where pedestrians are supposed to go and he replied "get a f***ing car." How can the City allow both sides of busy pedestrian traffic Oberlin Road be closed?

Just curious, did a CoR rep confirm this by going to the site, or did you take the contractor's word for it? With construction on-going on two corners of this intersection, it's a nightmare for pedestrians and I've seen many people with the "deer in headlights" look, wondering if they are going to make it across these streets safely. As far as the construction workers are concerned, most of them are polite, but there are a few who, ironically, will walk out in front of traffic between Harris Teeter and McDonalds without even looking for traffic. It's as if they are daring you to hit them.
There's no excuse for the crude remark from the construction worker.
