The yard parking has been occurring for over a year and has been reported to the city on multiple occasions. It is not clear as to why this continues in clear violation of city codes.

And this is why I said what I said. We have houses that have been abandoned with trash all over the yard, green pools, and weeds that are a foot tall, but you choose to pick out a vacant lot for parking violations. Really? The city needs to address the important stuff that has an impact on the health and safety of the residents and secondly property values.

Yard parking is just as bad as tall weeds and green swimming pools. It looks trashy and sends the message that nobody cares what anyone does in the neighborhood. Those who park there have entitlement issues; it's not their property. They have no right to park there.

The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
