Hi all,
I have placed your request on the bus shelter list, and will assess it when funding becomes available. Bus shelters are about $10,000-$20,000 each plus require ongoing cleaning and maintenance. Financial assistance such as public-private partnerships with some of the tech shuttle employers that stop at this park-and-ride could be a possible way to fund it.

That’s a fantastic idea, Gail ! It would be great for the City of Alameda to partner with the tech buses (Apple, Google, etc) to share a sheltered space. Even better would be a design competition for the shelter.
