Good afternoon: Here is the update from MIT regarding the HVAC:
-They are currently operating AHU1 with one compressor, with three damaged.
-Two compressors are being replaced yesterday, and work will be complete today when CFD will be onsite for the hot work component of the work.
-The final damaged compressor replacement will be delivered on Thursday, and that and the remaining “good” compressor will be replaced early next week.
-The fourth compressor is being replaced as a preventative measure to ensure there are no other issues with this unit.
-These repairs are intended to help the overall noise issue – which is tied to the fresh air supply.
