I see the parks department frequently cleaning the Jefferson side of Newfield Park, but not the Eagle Street side. There is trash everywhere and each morning I go outside and pick it up. Please ask them to come clean this side as well.

The entire street is disgusting. Garbage everywhere and there are garbage cans on the street all the time making it impossible to walk my dog.

I have continuosuly asked for garbage cans on the Eagle Street side of Newfield park. There was one can here and the city would not empty it when I approached them about it. The worker said, "the can must be in the park to be emptied" and it was outside the fence. It was overflowing and after going to the Parks Dept in person, it was emptied. Now the city has completely removed the can altogether. There is no where to place garbage on this side despite the fact that there is a tennis court, picnic table and cricket matches. I have purchased one myself that I will maintain. This is digusting. In Black Rock cans are outside of Ellsworth Field and are maintained by the city. So I ask what the problem is. I know only people of a certain class are entitled to clean streets, yet you all continue to vote for these do nothings in city hall and for city council.

Again. I have posted here, called the parks department and even stopped a parks department worker to least empty this to no avail. The parks department has an answering machine (of course). There is a picnic table which means people sit here and create trash which blows in front of my house because the city refuses to pick it up. No wonder this city is so dirty. We need someone to pick this up and to put cans on this side of Newfield Park. Don’t just “acknowledge” my complaint, please rectify it!

I have requested additional lights from my representative to no avail. Eagle street is dark and there are only 3 lights on the entire street. It is ridiculous. As a taxpayer my concerns go ignored. I have also asked for garbage cans on this side of the park and again nothing has happened. But what continues to happen is that people sit in cars and throw trash into the street. Also because there are picnic benches here people cook out and leave all the trash here. Perhaps the city should pay me for doing the job of the parks department.

I would like to request at least three garbage cans set up on the park side of Eagle Street. People sit in parked cars along new field park and throw trash on the ground. I have cleaned up the street twice in three days.

I reported this before and the case was closed by the city, as the owner was fined. But the grass continues to be overgrown and now I have a rodent problem as my house faces this house. Something needs to be done ASAP.

This house is in habitual blight. Last summer the grass grew into the street. This summer it is doing the same and the backyard is adjacent to mine. The overgrowth causes unwanted animals and pests to live and breed. Please address asap
