Notified About

  • Gazebo disaster! Acknowledged
    1300-1354 34th Street Oakland, California - Clawson
The gazebo is a site of illegal prostitution and drug use with the dumping of needles, alcohol bottles and condoms. The garbage is also attracting rodents and feral cats. The state of this gazebo poses a clear health and safety risk to the community.
  • 2219-2399 Wood Street Oakland, California - Clawson
Several neighbors have fallen on their bikes on this street, as it still contains embedded tracks parallel to the direction of traffic, and questionably in the middle of the road. There are zero traffic markings, so it becomes double dangerous, as cyclists (or motorists!) must guess the intention of oncoming traffic, as to where they believe the left- and right-hand lanes should be. This road needs decades-since-active rails removed, a resurfacing, and better traffic markings. As this neighborhood grows, Wood Street has great potential to be bike boulevard, connecting Oakland residences to Emeryville (and Oakland) businesses.
  • 1427 34th Street Oakland, California - Clawson
The two structures at 1427 34th St., Oakland CA 94608, have been abandoned for many years and are in such seriously deteriorated condition that they look like they could collapse at any moment. Clearly whomever owns these has no intention to put them into serviceable condition, so I am asking the city to condemn them and tear them down post haste.
  • 3529 Peralta Street Oakland, California - Clawson
the homeless encampment under the freeway has grown 3x it's size in the last month. the tents/pallets/bikes/trash are overflowing into the street. sidewalks are blocked for both pedistrians and are not accessible for the disabled. open air drug dealing and prostitution. mattresses. despite porta-potties, human feces and urine fill the area. horrendous smell. needles strewn. starting to block traffic.
  • 3532 Peralta St Oakland, CA 94608, Oakland, California - Clawson
Homeless encampment has reached an all time high population. Garage piles are extending into the street, and up to a block away. Urine and feces (the smell) is a public health problem.
  • Glass & electronics Acknowledged
3350-3732 Hollis St Oakland, California - Clawson
Glass, broken electronics, general trash. The dumping is bad enough, but the glass and chemicals from the electronics are dangerous. Caltrans & Oakland, you must install cameras here to stop this nearly daily occurrence. Stop ignoring the obvious solution!
  • 1526 32nd St Oakland, California - Clawson
This encampment has moved from Hannah to 32nd and is blocking the sidewalk. Foot traffic, drug deals, prostitution.
  • 3532 Peralta St Oakland, CA 94608, USA - Clawson
Large pile of garbage growing larger every day under the Peralta 580 overpass
  • 2601-2699 Wood Street Oakland, CA 94607, USA - Clawson
Here are illegal dumpers caught in the act on Wood Street. I called OPD because they threatened me when I told them to stop, and picked up rocks to throw at my car. They drove off but left about 10 fluorescent tubes- the car was full, probably about 80 tubes. License plate 3BOC976. Silver minivan.
  • 1301-1349 34th St Oakland, California - Clawson
This corner that is use to sell produce during the weekend is used daily and nightly as a bar/camping site/bathroom and drug dealing.
    Please, do something about this.
This is a park. There is people living in this neighborhood!
  • Illegal Dumping Acknowledged
3301-3399 Peralta St Oakland, California - Clawson
Union and Fitzgerald parks are a complete mess. Garbage bins are overflowing with garbage. If we don't call or post here the garbage doesn't get picked up and the park doesn't get mantained. There is loads of garabge, debris, people using these parks as public bathrooms. Please, don't wait for the neighbors to rally to keep our tx money moving toward mantaining our parks and keeping our streets safe and clean.
  • 1645-1663 28th Street Oakland California - Clawson
The charred remnants of a contiguous cluster of at least 3 encampment shacks/tents that caught fire and spectacularly burned to the ground (with flames shooting up 20 feet high, reaching the power line above) at 1 AM on Fri 1/19/2018 occupy a 50' x 18' swath of public sidewalk and parking lane on the south side of 28th Street, across from 91 homes. We are lucky that it rained last night - if this had occurred during the recent hot windy period, burning embers could have resulted in a West Oakland urban wildfire in parallel with the Napa/Sonoma fire. Who knows what potential toxic by-products remain here? The City must immediately protect public safety and clean up this health hazard. See attached 1/19/2018 photo.
